Where I’m Going

The past month has been filled with busy days at work, some traveling, and a couple of other things that have diverted time and attention away from this site.  That said, I hope to get some new posts up shortly.  I think I’m going to aim at more regular short-form content, like links to interesting stories or commentary as well as quick thoughts about pop culture stuff.  Long-form posts will still appear from time to time as well, though there may be some gaps between them from time to time.

Some of the things I’m working on getting together right now:

  • A series of year-end music posts, including a new Top 30 Albums list.
  • A film review for Black Swan.
  • A book review for new Nobel Laureate Mario Vargas Llosa’s Feast of the Goat.
  • Thoughts on Sarah Palin’s Alaska (spoiler alert: boring!).
  • A few concert reviews from November and December.
  • A review of Universal Studio’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter (yes, I’ve been!).
  • Idle speculation on tax cuts, debt ceilings, and what compromise means for 2012.

In the meantime, enjoy some new Cut Copy.
