LOST Season 1 Liveblog: Episode 24

Season 1, Episode 24: “The Exodus, Part 2”

  • Right where we left off!  That smoke looks suspiciously like a chimney.  Somebody call Dick van Dyke!
  • Hey, new guy: shut up!  He’s hopeless.
  • Locke understands the way of the crazy French woman.
  • Into the ship we go – I’m guessing we’re not going to find One-Eyed Willie’s treasure.
  • There are 40 other survivors?  Are they as annoying as this Arzt guy?
  • “Dude.”  Totally saw that coming, and he totally deserved it, but that’s a hell of a way to go.
  • White guy in the floral print works for the Korean mob?
  • “Who doesn’t like Bob Marley?”  (Hipster) Kate guesses Jin.
  • Is it rational to be more afraid of smoke than a monster that actually ate people?
  • Locke compares picking up dynamite to playing Operation:  “Bzzzz.”  What a guy.
  • French lady is crazy!  She’s the one who molested Claire in the night?  What!
  • Charlie goes to get Sayid, Frenchie steals baby, Charlie blames Sayid.  Productive.
  • Sawyer is reading all the S.O.S. messages… surprise!
  • Sayid warns Charlie not to take revenge… completely forgetting that he shot Ethan for no reason other than revenge.
  • Michael admits he didn’t want to take care of Walt while Walt is right behind him.  Smooth.
  • The raft hits a random log in the ocean, the rudder breaks off… and then the raft speeds up?  Sawyer to the rescue!
  • Jack volunteers Hurley to walk between two people carrying unstable dynamite.  I swear, if Hurley dies…
  • Sun gets philosophical and ponders whether fate can punish bad behavior.
  • Charlie sees drugs… think of the baybay!
  • Locke says hope is in the vault – does hope, once released, become less hopey?  Tea Partiers would say yes.
