Cue Terror

Palin Doesn’t Rule Out Palin-Beck Ticket

Palin - Beck 2012?

Now, I’m going to leave the prognostication and odds-making to the experts, but the prospect of Sarah Palin running for President with Glenn Beck as the VP candidate prompts two diametrically-opposed reactions.  One, it makes me laugh at the absurdity.  And apparently Palin is laughing too – right after admitting that she may consider it she ticked off his credentials, leading with “he’s a hoot.”  Great.  The full quote:

But Glenn Beck I have great respect for. He’s a hoot. He gets his message across in such a clever way. And he’s so bold – I have to respect that. He calls it like he sees it, and he’s very, very, very effective.

On to number two – this is terrifying.  I don’t give them much of a chance in a general election – at least not if Obama gets his act together and packs some punch behind his principles.  But could you imagine how nasty that election would get?

I suppose it wouldn’t be too awful though – at least Jon Stewart would secure good ratings through 2013.
